A site survey is a necessary component of you overall electrical safety program. It is an information gathering process that will provide the information necessary to perform your Comprehensive Arc Flash Study, produce your signs, and one-line diagrams. The site survey will also provide opportunities to examine your equipment for performance and safety issues. Some of these conditions would be limited access or clearances, moisture, dust, under or over sized equipment, overloaded equipment or equipment needing PM. The survey should also include: Inventorying, and confirming all distribution equipment, confirm loads connected, checking wire sizes and distances, emergency power systems, verify equipment condition and serviceability. This information is plugged into our state-of-the-art software that will produce your Comprehensive Arc Flash Study, signs and one-line diagrams. Because it is computerized, making reproducing them or making changes in the future will be greatly simplified. We can include a site survey in our Arc Flash Study or you may do it with your qualified employees, or an outside contractor. We try to provide maximum flexibility and choices for our customers. |
